‘Like celebrities, like fans’. That – in one short sentence – is the most accurate characterisation of BTS and their world wide fan base.

BTS, the world wide famous South Korean, group is very well known for donating to charitable projects, collaborating with UNICEF and helping those around them in every way possible.

This type of charitable and selfless behaviour by BTS has directly transcended to their fans (who are also known as ARMYs) and is mirrored by them in almost every place of the world.

The latest example of how ARMYs behave exactly like their idols comes from Qatar, where they donated a substantial amount of money to help those in Palestine.

BTS ARMYs donated 4,000 Qatari Riyal to the ‘Qatar Red Crescent‘, an organisation that is famous for helping Palestinians.

In response, ‘BTS Qatar’ thanked their fellow ARMYs for donating so generously to this charitable project. ‘We want to take this moment to thank every single ARMY in Qatar who participated’, said BTS Qatar in a social media post.
