Halsey, a world renowned singer and songwriter, has announced her latest step in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The U.S. based singer has been an incredibly vocal supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement as she attended a number of protests and has been using her enormous social media following to call out instances of police brutality.

All of this is going to be completely self-funded, according to the singer’s own tweet. “No donating necessary! I am funding the initiative myself”, tweeted Halsey.

Her most recent initiative was launched on 11 June, which is titled as ‘Black Creators Funding Initiative’ or BCFI for short. Halsey’s initiative has two key components, as illustrated by the below tweet.
