Anna Soubry, a former Member of Parliament and Conservative Minister, has revealed that she is going to support Keir Starmer at the next General Election.

Anna Soubry was first elected as a Conservative Member of Parliament in 2010, and served as the Minister for Defence Personnel, Welfare and Veterans from 2013 to 2015 and as Minister of State for Small Business, Industry and Enterprise from 2015 to July 2016.

Her remarks came as a shock to the vast majority of social media users as the former government minister first joined the Conservatives during her student days while at university.

The former Conservative Minister made those remarks on a live radio program on LBC where she also blasted her Party’s record in government.

“I will vote to make sure that we have Keir Starmer in No. 10 and we don’t have the Conservatives in Government anymore because they are not fit to govern”, Anna Soubry exclaimed.
