The world-wide renowned ‘iHeartRadio Music Awards 2020’ have been postponed, according to official social media reports posted earlier today. Meanwhile, the voting process will continue as usual.

The reason for the postponement is that the venue where the ‘iHeartRadio Music Awards’ were due to take place in the U.S. city of Los Angeles has been closed. The closure has happened as part of wide ranging precautionary measures in the fight against the global coronavirus pandemic.

However, the event will go ahead at a later date. ‘iHeartRadio and FOX will plan to reschedule at the appropriate time’, read the official statement posted on Twitter three hours ago.

Many other artists, singers and events are facing similar prospects of either cancellation or postponement in the near term.
