Muslim communities in London and elsewhere have always been known for their generosity and community spirit. With the coronavirus pandemic affecting various groups of people, Muslim charities have stepped up their efforts to help and support people in every way they possibly can.

Examples of such acts include delivering free meals for health care workers and providing vital assistance to those who are self-isolating. But, the latest act organised by the London branch of ‘Who is Hussain?‘ is definitely going to win your heart and praise.

Their latest initiative includes young Muslim kids making adorable cards for elderly people living in care homes; these illustrate some of their most artistic skills and are filled with lots of lovely messages of support.

In response to these incredibly talented young kids designing these beautiful cards, ‘Who is Hussain? London’ tweeted‘: “Thank you to all our young volunteers for the cards they’ve made for our friends at the elderly care home.”

“Sending you lots of happiness”, reads one card which is accompanied with a picture of a happy looking giraffe and a picture of a huge rainbow.

“I hope you stay safe and healthy through these difficult times”, reads a another card with a picture of a smiley face beneath the message.

Given that many elderly people at care homes can’t meet anyone due to the government’s guidance on self-isolation, these adorable cards are certainly guaranteed to put a smile on their faces.
