Senator Rehman Malik urges PM Imran Khan to “take the Kashmir case” to the UN, ICJ and ICC

Pakistan’s former Interior Minister, Senator Rehman Malik has urged the country’s Prime Minister to highlight the Kashmir issue at an international level.

In a tweet posted within the last hour, the Senator urged the current government to represent the concerns and grievances at international institutions such as the United Nations, the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.

Senator Rehman Malik is very well known for his concern regarding the plight and suffering of the people of Kashmir.

Therefore, he has stated that India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and his BJP government should be tried for “their crimes against humanity & genocide in Indian illegally Occupied Kashmir”.

He made these powerful claims via the below tweet, which has received positive reaction from those who support human rights and the rule of law in Kashmir.

Many people agree with the Senator’s claim that India’s Prime Minister should be held accountable for the human rights abuses in Kashmir.

It remains to be seen how Prime Minister Imran Khan will react to Senator Rehman Malik’s requests.
