Pakistani fans of BTS have expressed their thoughts on how the famous K-POP boy band has changed their lives for the better. They were using the hashtag ‘#BTSKAPAIGHAM’.
The purpose of this hashtag, as written in Urdu, was also to proliferate the K-POP group’s positive and merciful message in the country as well as make people understand what BTS is really about.
As part of the hashtag, which was trending very highly on the country’s Twitter platform, fans also shared the most memorable quotes of BTS members. In fact, at the time of writing the hashtag ’BTSKAPAIGHAM’ was the third most trendy topic.
When asked about the full purpose and meaning of this hashtag, the admin of BTS Pak Voting & Streaming Galaxy told me: “Mainly, this hashtag was organized to spread BTS’ message to Pakistani people who don’t actually know why BTS is so famous; why ARMYS around the world are crazy about them; how BTS help them in the darkest part of their life and what the message of BTS is to the youth which they give through their music”.
A memorable message, according to the aforementioned admin, was Kim Namjoom’s instruction: “Learn how to LOVE YOURSELF before loving others”.
Meanwhile, one of the most memorable quotes, according to the fan account BTS Pak Official was “The only time you should ever look back, is how far you’ve come”.
Another twitter user expressed their thanks for all the positivity BTS has bestowed on the fandom so far. They wrote “ThankYou BTS for sharing your lives, love & music, for working hard, for making me feel loved when I was finding it hard to love myself, for saving thousands of us and simply for existing”.
BTS fans are to be applauded, celebrated and praised for spreading positivity amongst the Pakistani youth, especially at a time when the country is facing fundamental political and economic upheaval.
The hashtag initiative should also be further proliferated because it reminds people of all the positivity there is in this life, the memorable and motivating BTS quotes will undoubtedly have an incredibly positive effect on the youth.
One can only hope that this recent gesture by the Pakistani fans of BTS will also make people better understand the famous KPOP group.
