BTS performs in Saudi Arabia

BTS, the famous South Korean boy band, performed in Saudi Arabia tonight. They performed in the kingdom’s capital Riyadh at the King Fahd International stadium, which has a capacity for almost 70,000 spectators.

Tonight’s performance means that ‪”BTS becomes first foreign artists to play solo show at Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd International Stadium‬”.

The concert was incredibly popular not just in Saudi Arabia, but also online throughout the world. Within the country, a number of key buildings and monuments were turned purple to mark BTS’ arrival into Saudi Arabia. All 7 members of the Bangtan Boys were also given a VIP protocol and strict security.

On social media platforms, such as Twitter, the hashtag “#BTSinSaudiArabia” was ranked highly on the most trending list, including in the following countries: the USA, UK, Pakistan and many more places.

Many people expressed a sense of delight and excitement that the famous South Korean boy band group did decide to go ahead with their decision to perform in the Kingdom’s capital.

The fan account BTS Pak Promo League tweeted: Joonie at the stage, all hyped up!! Honestly, I can feel the energy till here”.

Meanwhile, the fan account BTS Pak Project Official Team tweeted: “I fell in love with them all over again”.

A lot of social media users also expressed their happiness at BTS’ respect for religious customs, as reports emerged that they stopped their rehearsal at the time of the Muslim call to prayer.
