Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 5 wickets in the first T20 International Match in Lahore today.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 141 runs at the expense of 5 wickets in their full 20 Overs. The top three high scorers for the Bangladesh team were: Mohammad Naim, Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah.

Pakistan, in response, successfully achieved the target in 19.3 Overs, with 3 balls and 5 wickets remaining. The top three high scorers for the Pakistan team were: Shoaib Malik, Ahsan Ali and Mohammad Hafeez.

Shoaib Malik, Pakistan’s top scorer in today’s game, was crowned as the ‘Player of the Match’, tweeted the International Cricket Council.

Both teams will now play two more T20 International Matches. All three matches are taking place in Lahore.
