Pakistani fans are urging BTS, the world famous and award-winning KPOP group, to come to Pakistan as part of their long awaited tour in 2020.

On 24 December, BigHit Entertainment ambiguously hinted that BTS will do a major tour from April 2020 but with absolute no detail and information about which countries they will be visiting. They tweeted: “April 2020. Stay tuned”.

Many fans all around the world are now urging for the boy band to perform in their respective countries.

Tweet by BigHit Entertainment

In response to BigHit Entertainment’s above tweet, Pakistani fans of BTS have also been vigorously requesting for BTS to perform in the country.

They are doing this by posting on social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. In the aftermath of BigHit Entertainment’s tweet, “BTScomeToPakistan” was one of the most trending subjects in the country, which shows how much Pakistanis want to see their idols perform in the country.

Additionally, they are also propagating their positive message by setting out reasons why BTS must come to Pakistan. Some of these reasons include:

  • Magnificent scenery
  • Tasty food, especially Biryani
  • Brilliant stadiums
  • Great weather
  • Impressive tourist destinations
  • Huge fan base
  • Widespread appreciation for foreign culture and music
  • Better safety and security
  • The successful trip of the Royal British couple
  • Re-arrival of international cricket teams

It remains to be seen whether BigHit Entertainment will fulfil the wish of BTS fans. However, one thing is crystal clear: there is a gigantic demand among young Pakistanis to see BTS perform in the country.

If BigHit Entertainment do decide to include Pakistan then they would do a great service to the country because it could inspire young people with BTS’ positivity and it could also motivate young people to participate in additional social and charitable work as their idols did in partnership with Unicef.
